Thomas E. Bisson, 65, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Sunday November 13, 2022, in the Southern NH Medical Center, Nashua, NH. Tom has overcome many medical problems over the last 10 years, beating cancer, a rare lung disorder, but this last illness was too much, and he was taken from us much too soon. He was born on April 16, 1957, in Hartford, CT, a son of the late Wilfred and Marguerite (Thibault) Bisson, and had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 20 years.
Tom’s family moved from Bristol, CT to Derry, NH in 1969 where Tom graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1975. He later earned an Associate Degree in Business from Rivier College. After high school, Tom worked for Treasure Masters in Derry briefly, then began a long career with Kollsman Instruments (Elbit Systems of America) as an Avionics Repair Technician. He remained there until 2017 when his illness prevented him from working any longer.
He would say he met his soulmate and love of his life, Pam in 1988. Together they raised two wonderful sons, Robert and Zachary. He was proud of both boys. He was involved with Boy Scouts as a youth and then carried on that tradition with his boys as an assistant scout leader for many years.
Tom enjoyed camping, the Green Bay Packers, vacations with family. He was able to complete his bucket list trip of going to Alaska in 2019 with Pam and his sister Patti. He was a great cook and known for his awesome meatballs.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Pamala (Carr) Bisson of Londonderry; two sons, Robert P. Bisson of Pelham, NH and Zachary T. Bisson and his partner Ethan Conley of Manchester, NH; two brothers, Joseph M. Bisson of Pasadena, MD and Gregory J. Bisson of North Carolina; one sister, Patricia Guimond of Berwick, ME; his mother-in-law, Barbara Carr of Londonderry, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and his Uncle George Thibault. He was predeceased by one brother, William J. Bisson and one sister, Nancy L. Bisson.
