Elena Maria Blasser-Cheney, 54, of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, passed away on 12 November 2022.
She was born to parents Ralph Blasser and Claudia Hak on 09 April 1968 in South Boston, Massachusetts. Elena graduated from Milton High School and later worked as a dental hygienist for many years. For leisure, she often enjoyed spending time outdoors. She was always fond of running, swimming, street hockey, camping, hiking, and spending quality time with loved ones.
Elena was fondly referred to as the life of the party due to her reputation as a “social butterfly.” Everyone who knew her felt her big heart and giving nature. She simply wanted to brighten lives in her days, which she surely did. Peace and caring permeated her, and kindness felt like it was her middle name.
Elena is survived by her brothers, Joseph and Anthony; her uncle, Edward; her aunt, Janice; her stepfather, Victor; and an abundance of cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claudia and Ralph, and her grandparents, Sonny Blasser, Mary Blasser, Audrey Burgess, and Charles Burgess.
We know that God is pleased to have one of His kind and generous daughters back in His arms, where she belongs. She will be sorely missed by those of us left on earth. No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones when a memorial service, a celebration of life, and a funeral service are scheduled.
