Clare Ann (Curry) Day, 49, of Plainville formerly of Franklin died suddenly November 7 at her home. She was the wife of Patrick T. Day for the past 22 years.
Born in Newton, April 17, 1973, the daughter of the late Philip P. and Ann K. (Curran) Curry, Clare was raised in Franklin and had lived in Plainville for the past 5 years.
Clare was a graduate of Franklin High School and also a graduate of Mount Vernon College.
Prior to raising her family, Clare had worked as an adjuster for the Hertz Auto Company.
She enjoyed, playing tennis, cats and dogs and collecting minky blankets.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons Jared and Joshua Day of Plainville. Clare is also survived by her siblings, Erin Curry Carr of Wytheville, Virginia and Chad P. Curry of Franklin.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 15 in St. Mary’s Church Franklin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-7 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.
