Worcester – Barbara A. (Spencer) Fenton, 77, of Worcester, passed away in the Lutheran Home of Worcester on Monday, October 31, 2022.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Debra Bouyer and her fiancé, Tyrone of Worcester; the love of her life, Robert Jones; her 4 grandchildren, Helen Barber, Tamika Fenton, Arthur Barber and Malikah Dunston; 11 great grandchildren and a nephew Donald Hill. She was born in Manhattan, New York City daughter of the late Ravel Fleming and Mary Spencer. Barbara is also predeceased by her son, Wilford Fenton; a daughter, Michelle Daphne Fenton and a granddaughter, Latanya Spencer.
She worked for many years as a school crossing guard where she received great joy seeing kids go to school on a daily basis. Barbara loved tending to her vegetable garden, taking trips to the casino and especially making a home cooked meal for her family. Ms. Fenton attended Second Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling, specifically to New York City where she would visit her granddaughter.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 8 at 11 AM in Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 AM in the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
