Annette J. Forrest, 78, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 2, 2022 at Bayberry Commons, in Burrillville. She was the widow of William G. Forrest who died in January, 2005.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Herve and Elodia (St. Pierre) Vilandre. She had most recently lived in Smithfield with her daughter Susan and family and had previously lived in Johnston for over 40 years.
She was the mother of John W. Forrest of Lincoln, Michele Batalon and her husband, Robert of Cranston and Susan A. Belleavoine and her husband, Bruce of Smithfield. She was the grandmother to Brian, James, Matthew, Jolie and Jenna. Annette also leaves a sister Geraldine "Gerry" Ruddy and her husband, Frank of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
Annette loved to be with her family. She enjoyed going to see her grandchildren play sports, go camping and she loved the beach.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Joseph Church, Danielson Pike, Scituate. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation is Monday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to American Parkinson's Disease Association.
