Paul “Scott” Trufant, 55, of Woonsocket died Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket after a brief illness.
Born in Natick on May 13, 1967, he was the son of Paul L. Trufant and his wife Barbara of Medway and Sandra J. (Bauer) Trufant of Medway.
Scott was a resident of Woonsocket, Rhode Island for the past 4 years. He grew up in Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1985.
Scott worked as an equipment operator in construction for many years.
His passions were drawing, muscle cars, lifted trucks and heavy equipment and most importantly, his pets including his dogs and many rescued parrots.
Besides his parents, he is survived by; his son Paul Trufant, Jr. of Roslindale, his daughter Kassandra Trufant of Northbridge, and his longtime partner Michelle Mahoney and her son Tyler of Woonsocket.
He is also survived by two brothers, Peter Trufant and his wife Kristin of Medway and Patrick Trufant and his wife Holly of Franklin, his nieces and nephews, Jordan, Kaylin, Aidan, Mackenzie, Reilly, Devin and Mason and his half-sister Jessica (Trufant) Powers and her husband Jon of Woburn.
A Celebration of Life for Scott will be held on Saturday, December 10th from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Medway VFW, 123 Holliston Street in Medway.
