Obituary

RAHILLY, Thomas J. Longtime resident of Dedham, formerly of Glenbeigh, County Kerry, Ireland passed away on November 3, 2022. Beloved husband of Mary A. (Corcoran) Rahilly. Devoted father of Kathleen Callahan and her husband Sean of Wrentham, Kevin Rahilly of Dedham, Kolleen Rahilly of Dedham, and Brian O’Rahilly and his wife Maura of Marshfield. Loving Grampa of Alissa, Breanne, Lara, and Kaitrin Callahan, Michael and Cameron Rahilly, and Shaigh and Fionn O’Rahilly. Great-grandfather of Aiden and Hudson Callahan. Brother of Mary Kelly of West Roxbury, Ann Doyle of England, Catherine Surgue of County Kerry, and the late Deborah Moloney, Michael, Martin, Ellen, John, and Patrick Rahilly. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Thomas was a Korea War Veteran, U.S. Army. He was a member of Dedham Knights of Columbus Council #234, and the Dedham American Legion Post #18.

Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home 456 High St. Dedham on Sunday, November 6th from 4-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, November 7th at 9:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anne’s Church, Readville at 10:30am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment at the St. James Section of St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Tom’s memory to Chrystal Springs Adult Program, P.O. Box 372, Assonet, MA 02702.
