Oliver Cole Scott, 8, of Chester, NH, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, in his home while with his mother and father after the most courageous battle against cancer. He was born in Exeter, NH on December 14, 2013, a son of Douglas and Katherine Scott.
Oliver loved so many things and so many people. Oliver loved the water. He loved to swim. Oliver loved the beach and sand. He loved the lake and paddleboarding. He loved riding his scooter. He loved blowing bubbles. He loved playing board games. He loved card games. He loved video games. ESPECIALLY Fortnite. He loved his cousins. He loved all his aunts and uncles. He loved his grandparents. He loved all his friends, and he had so many, he would make friends everywhere he went. He loved his siblings, so much, being a brother was his favorite thing. He gave the best hugs and head rubs. He just had an aura about him. He was undeniably irresistible when he wanted to be. He will be missed every second of every day.
On addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Faith Rousseau; two brothers, Bruce, and Slade Scott; paternal grandparents, Ted and Terry Scott; maternal grandparents, Curt and Maureen Fitton; maternal great-grandmother Elizabeth LaRosee; five uncles, Steve Scott and wife Megan, Ken Scott and wife Meranda, Ted Scott, Jr., CJ Fitton and partner Stephanie, and Nick Fitton and partner Martyna; his honorary Aunt, Amanda Gibbon along with many cousins and extended family members.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH.
