Newell of E. Bridgewater, Cheryl Whittemore of E. Taunton, Maryellen Currie of Whitman, Daniel Newell of Brockton and the late Kevin F. Newell. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and was the sister of George Armstrong of W. Bridgewater.

Margaret M. (McCormack) Newell, died Tuesday morning at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a period of failing health. Born in Boston, raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Mary M. McCormack. She attended Brockton schools and had been employed at Goddard Memorial Hospital in Stoughton after raising her children. She had been a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years James W. Newell, her children, Katherine Asiaf of Bridgewater, Patricia Boyle of Bridgewater, James F. Newell of E. Bridgewater, Cheryl Whittemore of E. Taunton, Maryellen Currie of Whitman and Daniel Newell of Brockton, 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, sister and brother in laws and one brother George Armstrong of W. Bridgewater. She was the mother of the late Kevin F. Newell
