Priscilla C. Dalrymple, 90 of Londonderry, NH died Tuesday November 1, 2022 at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH. Priscilla was born in Wakefield, MA on May 16, 1932, a daughter of the late James and Ruth (Westcott) Christie. She had resided in Londonderry since 1969, formerly living in Reading, MA. She was married to her loving husband Philip G. Dalrymple for fifty-nine years who passed in October of 2013.
Priscilla was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was meaningfully involved in the greater Londonderry community through her many years with the Londonderry Presbyterian Church (a member since 1969) and her involvement in the Derry Garden Club. Throughout her life, she was involved in various local charities. Priscilla was an avid reader and loved sailing, traveling, gardening, sewing, and quilting. She had many friends whom she always looked forward to connecting with for lunch dates and loved her family deeply. She will be remembered by the many people who loved her for her skillful ability to be a friend, her sharp mind, and her dedication to her family.
She is survived by three children, Keith Dalrymple and his wife Heather of Hancock, NH, Marcia Alix and her husband Paul of Londonderry, and Linda Bedell and her husband Todd of Londonderry, five grandchildren, August Dalrymple, Courtney Grimble and her husband Chris, Alexa Bedell, Adam Alix and Holly Alix. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Philip G. Dalrymple in 2013, and also by her sisters, Gretchen and her husband Louis Graves and Ruth Ellen and her husband Daniels LeSaffre.
Following cremation, she will be laid to rest privately with her husband in Pillsbury Cemetery, Londonderry. A memorial celebration will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Londonderry Presbyterian Church, 126 Pillsbury Rd., Londonderry, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of her beloved late husband Philip Dalrymple may be sent to the American Parkinson Disease Association, c/o Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, 1 Medical Center Way, Lebanon, NH 03766. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry is assisting the family with arrangements.
