New Bedford MA.- Almerinda (Cabral) Alexandre died Monday May 22, 2006 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford surrounded by her loving family after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Serafim Alexandre Survivors include 2 Sons: Mario and Paul Alexandre both of New Bedford. A Daughter Fernanda and her husband Joseph Couto of New Bedford. 3 Brothers Manuel Cabral of Fall River, Jose Cabral of Dartmouth and Aniceto Cabral of New Bedford. 6 Sisters; Alda Medeiros of New Bedford, Gilda Vasconcellos of New Bedford, Fernanda Jacob of Dartmouth, Maria Jose Mateus of New Bedford, Bibiana Cabral of New Bedford, and Teresa Almeida of New Bedford. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and several nieces, and nephews. She loved her Children and Grandchildren
Mrs Alexandre was born in St. Michael, Azores, Portugal until she moved here in 1967. She was a daughter of the late Maria (Alves) and Luis Cabral.
Her Funeral will begin at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 8 A.M., Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 AM. , Burial will take place at St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are 6 to 9 PM. on Friday, May 26, 2006 at the Perry Funeral Home
