Nicholas P. DeMarco, III, 58

Nicholas P. DeMarco, III, age 58, of Attleboro, formerly of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

Born in Boston, MA on October 1, 1964, he was a loving son of Nicholas P., Jr. and Therese B. (Colbert) DeMarco of Mansfield.

Nicky grew up in Mansfield and was a 1982 graduate of Mansfield High School. While in school he played Varsity Football and excelled in hockey with the Colonial AAA and Tri-County Saints, and continued playing on men’s leagues well into his 50’s. He was a Licensed Electrician and was employed at Brite Lite Electrical as a Foreman.

A communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield, he played drums for local band “American Toast”. He cherished the times spent with family, friends and his faithful dogs “Sophie” and “Nyla”. Nicky will always be remembered with a smile for his amazing sense of humor and always being the life of the party.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his devoted brothers: Joseph A. DeMarco of Mansfield and Christopher M. DeMarco and his wife Cynthia of Norton. He is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, November 4th from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 5th at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.

In lieu of flowers. The DeMarco family has requested that donations in Nicky’s memory be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
