DARTMOUTH…Shelley A. (Sylvia) Affonso, 57, of Dartmouth passed away October 27, 2022, at Charlton memorial Hospital in Fall River.
Born in New Bedford, she was a daughter of Carol (Mont) Foley and her husband Dennis of Dartmouth and Edward Sylvia and his late wife Mary of Freetown.
Mrs. Affonso had worked for many years as a CNA. She could always be found helping those in need, cooking and dancing. Above all else, she loved spending time with her granddaughters.
Along with her parents, survivors include her sons: Michael Rioux and his wife Taia of Rockland, MA and Jason Rioux and his wife Alexandra of Raynham; her granddaughters: Maia, Sierra, Ella Mae and Aria; her sister, Justine Dore and her husband Normand of Dartmouth; her brothers: Danny Miller and his wife Melissa of Dartmouth and Jeffrey Sylvia and his wife Marylou of South Carolina; her nieces and nephews: Megan Gonzalez, Brooke, Matthew Dore and Joshua Dore.

Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 11 AM directly at Evergreen Cemetery, located on Old Fall River Road, Dartmouth, MA 02747.
