Raymond - Mark D. Nelson, age 64, passed away on October 27, 2022, at his home with his family by his side.
Mark was born in Concord, Massachusetts on September 24,1958, the third son of the late Donald and Joanna (Kangas) Nelson. Mark graduated from Oyster River High School and received his Associates Degree in Electromechanical Technology from Central Maine Community College. Throughout the years, Mark held various jobs from helping run his family’s foundry, helping install the sorting center at LL Bean, and most recently keeping all the machines running at the chicken factory aka Tyson/Barber foods. Mark is survived by his wife Kristine Rosebrooks; children Jason (Mandy), Samantha (Tim), and Kimberly (Dan); and grandchildren Jaime and Madalyn.
Mark and Kristine adored each other for 30 years. They were engaged for 20 years before getting hitched in 2017 on the sunny deck of one of their favorite Portland restaurant's, Dimillo’s. Other than spending time with Kristine, he enjoyed boating, golfing with his best pal Greg, and quick weekend trips throughout New England and beyond. He is predeceased by both his parents, brothers Eric and Jon, and niece Hayley Morgan Allen.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Rustler’s Restaurant in Windham from 4pm to 8pm on November 8th.
