Jack Edward McGill, 71, of Anderson, passed away October 29, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson.
He was born on June 12, 1951 in Anderson, the son of Jackson E. and Catherine (Blair) McGill. He was employed in the computer science field and was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Alexandria. He attended Wesley Free Methodist Church where he assisted with the audio visual production.
Jack is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet (Wade) McGill, whom he married on July 19, 1969; two children; Nikol (Tony) Zrenner and Matthew (Amber) McGill; seven grandchildren; Jessica Lawson, Joshua (Emily) Lawson, Zachary (Danielle) Zrenner, Kaleigh Zrenner, Jayden McGill, Carter Jackson, Lilah Wilson McGill; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Karen Young; brother, Richard McGill; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 4PM at Wesley Free Methodist Church, 3017 West 8th Street, Anderson. Visitation will also be held at the church from 2:00 PM until the service at 4:00 PM.
