Sharon Ann Caswell, 80, of Thousand Oaks, California, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband, Murl David Caswell who passed away in 2018 at 86.
Sharon was raised in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Southern California as a teenager with her parents Edward and Harriet Reich, and her brother Ken.
Murl was raised by parents Melvin Roy and Leora (Overstreet) Caswell in Redding, California before moving to Southern California to work at Hughes Helicopters.
Sharon enjoyed spending time with family and was a prolific quilter. Murl enjoyed gold prospecting and was an avid fisherman.
Both Murl and Sharon were also beloved volunteers for many years at the Civic Arts Plaza and the Conejo Players theater. They attended Shepherd’s House Church.
Sharon and Murl are survived by their sons David and Joseph, and their granddaughters, Christin and Sarah.
Graveside funeral services for both Sharon and Murl will be held at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park at 2052 Howard Road, Camarillo, CA on Wednesday, November 2 at 2:30pm. A reception and refreshments will be immediately following. Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura.
