Michael E. Borowski, 42, of Douglas died Saturday, October 22nd in UMass Memorial Medical Center. He leaves his daughters, Hailey Borowski and Amber Borowski both of Douglas; their mother, Carrie Dickerman of Douglas; his parents, Edward and Norma (Robidoux) Borowski of Pascoag, RI; a brother, Paul Borowski of Dayton, Texas; a sister, Julie Hairapetian and her husband, Melo of Morris, Illinois; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
He was born in Worcester, and took residence in Douglas, MA, for over a decade where he became well know for his orders at Gregory's, and revving his car across town. Michael worked at J’s Automotive in Oxford for enough time to make an amazing impression on those around him, while also working a handful of years at J.D. Byrider. Michael was a hardworking man, who would do every task on his own due to his stubbornness. A proud mechanic, Michael would share his love for cars with everyone, helping anyone with any issue they had. He enjoyed the thrill of speed and showing off his Chrysler 300. Michael was always willing to share his trophies and memories from his races with four wheelers and dirt bikes.
A true New Englander, Michael could always be found watching Patriot games on Sundays. Each day he started with Dunkins and ended each night with a BudLight.
Although Michael did not often show his love in a physical or emotional way, he always made sure to be present there everyday. Michael loved his family and cherished his children and all the time he had with them.
"The winner is not the one with the fastest car. It's the one who refuses to lose." Dale Earnhardt
