Francine “Fran” Dorrance (Laffey) passed away suddenly at home on October 15, 2022.
Fran was born and raised in Chelsea and graduated Chelsea High School in 1983. Daughter of the late Raymond and Jean Laffey. Dear sister of the late Raymond Laffey Jr, Robert Laffey and Renee Zelaya. Survived by Renee’s husband Carlos Osegura of Chelsea. Loving mother of William Dorrance of Derry, Jennelle Dorrance and her fiancé Derrick Burton of Chelsea and Erica Mullen of Chelsea. Devoted Nana to Treyvon, Kylie, Aubree, Leonell, Julian, JJ and Jaliyah. She will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Everyone who knew Francine knew her big heart and how she was always helping someone or making someone laugh with her crazy sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and was blessed with her presence.
Visiting hours will be held at Casper Funeral Service located at 187 Dorchester Street in South Boston on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 from 1-3PM. Interment services will be private.
