Robert J. Stockton

TEWKSBURY: Robert J. Stockton, age 61, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 19, 2022

He was the beloved husband of Ann M. (Flaherty) Stockton, with whom he would have celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on November 8th.

Born in Cambridge on March 14, 1961, he was the son of the late Robert G. Stockton and the late Anne M. (Considine) Stockton.

Bob was raised in Tewksbury and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1979.

He worked for many years for Payne Elevator Company and Diamond Iron Works until recently taking a job with Advanced Auto Parts.

Bob was a former member of the Moose Lodge in North Reading.

He enjoyed visiting flea markets, attending police and fire memorabilia shows and tinkering with small engines.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kimberly A. Stockton and her husband Christopher Hands, of Somerville. He was the brother of Julie M. Wood, of Hudson, NH and the late Deborah Kenney and her husband Bill Kenney of Dunstable. Bob leaves his longtime friends, Carl and Rufus Pittsley and Russell Haloon: Also his beloved English Bulldogs Mia and Dilly.

Family and friends will be received Friday, October 28th, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, followed by a graveside service and interment of his ashes at St. Mary Cemetery, 90 River Road, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Hundred Club of Massachusetts, at 25 Braintree Hill Office Park, Suite 200, Braintree, MA 02184. The Hundred Club provides
benefits to the surviving families of Massachusetts firefighters and police officers killed in the line of duty.
