In Raynham, Barbara Atchison, age 75, passed away peacefully in her home on October 22, 2022 while surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was the wife of Thomas Atchison of Raynham. She was born in Attleboro, the daughter of the late Joseph P. Rita& Marie (Cote) Richards.
Barbara was a resident of Raynham since 1976 and formerly of Attleboro. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, and grandmother and enjoyed crafting, gardening, bird watching, being outside in nature, watching football, visiting museums, and loved all animals, and above all she cherished her time with family.
In addition to her loving husband Thomas, Barbara leaves her beloved children; Carol Doughty and husband Fred of Swansea, Tammy Atchison of Taunton, Rhonda Atchison of Wareham and T.J. Atchison and his wife Yvonne of Middleboro. She also leaves her grandchildren; Gary DeMoranville, Tim Demoranville, John Cordeiro, Erin Silvia, Katie Bragga, Meghan Silvia, Nick Silvia, Abby Bragga, Damien Atchison, and her late granddaughter Ashley Atchison , her great grandchildren; Brady DeMoranville, Austin DeMoranville, Jaidyn Mendes, Luna DeMoranville, Timmy DeMoranville Jr. and Frankie Kraft.
Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Thursday, October 27th from 9:30-11am. A funeral home service will be held at 11am. and burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
