Frederic Howard Weber, Jr., 76, a lifelong resident of Derry, NH peacefully passed Thursday October 20, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Fred was born in Derry on August 8, 1946, a son of the late Frederic H. Weber, Sr. and Phyllis (Watjen) Weber.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Roberta (Locke) Weber of Derry, and his 3 children; one son, Dean William Weber and his wife Heidi of Sardis, GA, and their son, Justin Keane Weber; his oldest daughter; Kristin Elaine Sobotka and Steve Sobotka of Derry, and their children, Nathan Howard and Tiffany Sharon Sobotka; and his youngest daughter Laura Lee Apostoloff and her husband David of Derry, and their children, Tyler Jon, Haylee Lyn, and Rylee Rae Apostoloff. He also leaves behind his brother, Thomas Wayne Weber of Derry, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Fred spent his whole life working, that was his true love, beyond the love for his family. He worked carrying on the family business, Weber & Sons Earth Moving that started with his father Frederic Weber Senior until 1975, when he began Weber Landscaping which demonstrated his expertise in the love of the earth. In 1977 Fred & his brother Thomas Weber Launched the The Big “W” Mobil home park located in Derry, NH which successfully operated for 37 years to his retirement.
While operating the trailer park Fred rescued and cared for several animals, his love & affection for stray animals was incredible, with the help & support of Animal Allies.
His work ethic carried on into his obsession for racing. He brought Weber Racing to a championship with family & friends. The accomplishments Fred achieved were endless.
Fred has left an everlasting impact on this world. His love for his family was his first priority, and there was no limit to what he would do.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday October 25, 2022 from 4 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. Following the burial friends may join at the Salem/Derry Elks club, for a celebration of his life, located at 39 Shadow Lake Road, Salem, NH.
