ROONEY, Dorothy Rose (Fitzhenry) Lifelong resident of East Dedham, October 18, 2022, age 102. Beloved wife of the late William T. Rooney. Devoted mother of William T. Rooney, Jr. and his wife Linda of Columbia, TN, and Lawrence J. Rooney and his wife Rosemary of Dedham. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was the last of 12 brothers and sisters. Dorothy lived a fantastic life all the way to the end.
A visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 9:00-11:00am followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 11:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
