Bertrand J. Rouleau, 79, of Manchester died May 21, 2006 at his home after a long illness.
Born in Manchester on October 22, 1926, he was the son of Gideon and Anne (Vallee) Rouleau.
Mr. Rouleau worked for the State of New Hampshire as a bus driver for the Sight Assist Workshop for the Blind. He then was a supervisor at the Easter Seals Work Center for 20 years. He devoted much of his time working with the blind, being sure they were treated with respect, kindness and understanding.
The family includes his wife, Ruby (Veer) Rouleau of Manchester; three sons, Richard D. Rouleau, Michael S. Rouleau and Robert J. Rouleau all of Manchester; several grandchildren; a sister, Doris Plourde of Manchester and nieces and nephews.
IN HIS LIFE: The family also includes a sister in law, Violet Rouleau of Manchester.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday May 26, 2006 in St. Pius X Church, corner of Candia Rd. and Sarto St., Manchester. Graveside committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
