Aram Tomasian, M.D., beloved husband for 56 years to Victoria (Vicky) Tomasian; father to Dr. Douglas Tomasian and his wife Agnes, Dr. Alicia Tomasian, Susan Tomasian and William Tomasian; grandfather of Caroline, Kathleen, and Thomas Tomasian; brother of the late Harold, Thomas and Elizabeth Tomasian; uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Dr. Tomasian was a Physician Emeritus of Mount Auburn Hospital where he served for 48 years. He served 20 years as Chair of Respiratory Therapy, and was on the faculty of Harvard and Tufts Medical Schools. During his career, he also served as medical director at the Cambridge Homes for the Aged, and was past president of the Cambridge TB and Health Association.
He was a fellow in the American College of Chest Physicians.
Memorial visiting hours will be on Friday, October 21, from 5-8 p.m. at the Aram Bedrosian Funeral Home, 558 Mt. Auburn Street, Watertown. Memorial service will be at the Armenian Memorial Church, 32 Bigelow Avenue, Watertown on Saturday, October 22 at 1:00 p.m.
