Paul S. Segal of Swampscott passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on October 16. Paul was born on September 10, 1933, the son of Ben and Billie Segal. Paul was married to his beloved wife Marilyn (Shefshick) for 66 years. He was predeceased by his adoring son David. Paul was the loving father of Bradlee Segal and his wife Cheryl, Stacie and her husband Ron Brown, Gerri Segal, and Scott Segal. Paul and Marilyn were foster parents to Derek Potocki and many other children whom they loved dearly. Paul was the beloved grandfather of Kyle and his wife Michelle, Ronnie, Kevin, Cara and her husband Kenny, Troy, and Alex. He was the adoring great grandfather of Ryker and Everly.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 1:30 PM, at the Chevra Kadisha Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett. Shiva will be held at his late residence, 1 Loring Avenue, Swampscott, following interment until 9 PM. Additional parking is available at Stop & Shop, 450 Paradise Road, Swampscott.
