Charles Edward “Speedy” Paramore, 73, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, October 17, 2022, at his residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11 AM, Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the Fitzgerald Church of God, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Dewain Joiner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services in the church sanctuary.
Mr. Paramore was born February 26, 1949, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late James Howard, Sr. & Myrtle Lee Adamson Paramore. He was a family man and loved Georgia football, the Fitzgerald Hurricanes and riding his zero-turn lawn mower. Mr. Paramore was a member of the Fitzgerald Church of God and he loved his church family. He retired from CSX as an engineer with 24 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Rebecca Paramore of Fitzgerald; three children: Charlie Paramore, Patrick Cody Paramore and Samantha Leigh Reaves & Will; a bonus daughter, Courtney Rodriguez, grandchildren: Kolbee Pryce Paramore, Elliot Reaves, Ella Reaves, Tiffany Paramore, Kailey Hasty, Loghan Hasty and Preston Hasty; great-grandchildren: Makenna and Jaxon, along with several bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Ann Wilson and two brothers: Donald Paramore and Billy & Lynn Paramore.
