CHARLTON – Joseph W. Lundquist, 52, died Sunday, October 16, 2022 at home after a period of declining health.
He leaves his wife of 6 years, Karen L. (Mann) Lundquist; 3 sons, Eric Lundquist of Concord, NH, Christopher Lundquist and his wife Kyla of Topsham, ME and William Lundquist of Portland, ME; a daughter, Alexandra Lundquist of Charlton; 3 granddaughters, Sophia, Emerie and Lovelle; 4 brothers, Paul M. Lundquist and wife Kim of Dudley, Michael S. Lundquist and Shawn D. Lundquist, both of Charlton, and David J. Lundquist and his partner Tanya of Northbridge; a sister, Nicole M. Chouinard and her husband James of Charlton; several nephews and nieces.
He was born on August 9, 1970 in Worcester and raised there, a son of Walter B. and Tamara (Skarbow) Lundquist and moved to Charlton in 1984. He graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School where he played on the varsity football team.
Mr. Lundquist was a truck driver for most of his life. He first worked for Rushco Trucking in Oxford for over 10 years and then for Capello Trucking Company in Shrewsbury, retiring last year due to illness.
He enjoyed woodworking and was a fan of the New England Patriots.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster, with a service at 6:15 PM in the funeral home.
