Lillian Rose (Morris) Stachura, 91, of Uxbridge, passed away Monday, October 3,
2022 in Milford Regional Medical Center. Her husband of nearly sixty-three years, Joseph P.
Stachura, died in 2018. She is survived by her children, Joseph P. Stachura, Jr. and his wife
Mary of North Smithfield, RI; Mary Elizabeth Carraway and her husband Charles of Terry, MS;
Susanna Stachura–Shulman and her husband Marc of Oak Park, MI; and Anne Stachura-Girard
and her husband Joseph of Millbury; grandchildren, Caroline Gelabert-Noh, Joseph DeSantis,
Daniel DeSantis, Francis Carraway, David Sakolosky, Jake Sakolsky and Eileen Sakolsky;
great-grandchildren William, Allie, Vincent, Navian, Julian, and Naomi and a brother-in-law,
Reverend Thaddeus Stachura. She was predeceased by her son, Bernard M. Stachura.
Lillian was born in Millbury, MA, a daughter of Bernard and Mary Theresa (Drudis) Morris.
Mrs. Stachura graduated from Millbury High School. Along with her late husband, they owned
and operated the Joseph P. Stachura Company, Inc. They traveled the world in search of
stones, gems and pearls for many years. Mrs. Stachura was devoted to her family and to God.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Uxbridge and later, Our Lady of
Czestochowa in Worcester. She will be greatly missed.
The funeral was privately held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 with a Mass in Our Lady of
Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Worcester. Burial was at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Uxbridge.
