SPRINGFIELD – William H. “Bill” Jordan, 63, of Springfield and a longtime resident of Cape Cod, was called safely home on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. He passed into eternal life unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep in his home in Springfield. He was born in Wareham on December 19, 1958, a beloved son of the late John L. and Mae M. (West) Jordan. He was raised in Bourne, graduated from Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical High School and had lived in Falmouth before moving to Springfield in 2021. He was employed as a Retail Clerk for Walmart for many years. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He leaves his two loving children, John Jordan of Columbia, SC and Tracy Locklear and her husband, Billy, of Burlington, NC; his loving stepdaughter, Tammy Jordan of Burlington, NC; his three cherished grandchildren, Alyssa, Jacob and Nicholas; his two brothers, George Allen and his wife, Josie, of Hilo, HI and John Allen of Falmouth; his two sisters, Joyce Hammond of Plymouth and Jessie Jordan of Falmouth; and several nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended family members. His funeral services and burial will be private. The St. Pierre-Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107 is assisting his family.
