Lorna J. Urbanowicz Corbett, 80 of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts died suddenly on October 14th at the hospital.
She was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on the 8th of April 1942 and was the youngest daughter of Alphonse and Mary (Mooney) Urbanowicz and the sister of the late Alphonse Urbanowicz, Jr. and the late Mary (Urbanowicz)Green.
She grew up in Brockton with a passion for Roller Skating. She was the skating partner of David Tassinari which led to many championships.
Lorna retired from the Town of East Bridgewater where she worked as a dietary aide at the East Bridgewater High School.
She loved her family, grandchildren and her many beloved pets. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, WIlliam F. Corbett, Sr., and had resided in East Bridgewater for over 45 years. She leaves behind two daughters and a son, Anmarie (Corbett) Sebastyn and her husband Joseph W. Sebastyn of Whitman, MA, Michelle (Corbett) Roberts and her husband Kenneth J. Roberts of Fort Myers, FL and William F. Corbett, Jr. of Rockland, MA., She also leaves behind five loving grandchildren, Aaron J. Sebastyn, Hunter W. Sebastyn, Chloe J. Roberts, Devon E. Roberts, Kaitlin L. Shaffer along with several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours on Thursday October 20 from 2:00-4:00 PM with a service to follow at 4:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. There will be a gathering to celebrate the life of Lorna at the VFW, 95 Essex. Street, Whitman, MA following the services.
