Vesta graduated from Standish High School and later went on to work at SD Warren Co, where she eventually retired from.
She is predeceased by her parents, her beloved stepmother Tina Douglas, her husband Kenny Lund, and her son Douglas Gammon.

She will certainly be missed by her two cats Frankie and Millie.
Vesta and Kenny spent many years vacationing in Cancun, snowmobiling in Andover, and boating on Richardson Lake. She was proud to let us all know that she was featured in Snowmobile Magazine in 1990. Vesta was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed hosting many Nascar parties where her famous mudslide originated. Most of her time was spent traveling to every sporting event, dance recital, and any school functions that the grandchildren were participating in. She loved her friends and family with all of her heart and was happy to mix a drink and have a conversation with anyone. In the past couple of years, she was enjoying her monthly luncheons and field trips with her “Mill girls” and reconnecting with many old friends in the Standish senior citizens group. Vesta was very excited about the arrival of her 5th great grandchild coming in November.
