Joseph A. “Joe” Turner, Jr., of Methuen, formerly of Medford, passed away on Thursday, October 13th. He was 80. Born in Boston and raised in Medford, he was the cherished son of the late Joseph A. and Anna (Ciampa) Turner.
Joe loved to spend time with his family, especially by his pool. Joe also enjoyed vacationing at the beach. Joe enjoyed grabbing a bite to eat for lunch and watching the Patriots games. He will be missed by all.
Joseph was the beloved companion of 30 years to Petra Lawrence. He was the devoted father of Joseph A. Turner III., and Kimberly DeNafio and her husband Thomas Jr. He was the loving Grandpa of Erika, Thomas III., and Anthony DeNafio, Joseph and Jacob Turner and the late Amanda DeNafio, and the great Grandpa of CJ and Julianna Richardi and Thomas DeNafio, IV. He was the caring cousin of Louise Welch whom he considered a sister, and is also survived by his nephew, nieces, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Joe’s family on Friday, October 21st from 5 to 8 PM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a funeral service at 7 PM. Burial will be private.
