Erica Elizabeth (Briggs) Tropeano, 58, of Bridgewater formerly of Franklin died October 10 in Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. She happily spent the last twenty years with her husband Eugenio A. Tropeano; they were married for the past 10.
Erica was born in Boston, the eldest daughter of William C. Briggs of Bedford and Elizabeth (Linney) Baker of Franklin on January 30, 1964. She was raised in Franklin and lived in Bridgewater for the past four years. In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by Marilyn, wife of William, and Gerald, husband of Elizabeth.
Erica was the mother of Greg Feeley of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, Sean Feeley of Seattle, WA, Haley Perry of Franklin, Oliver Perry of Franklin, Tallula, Mufasa and Jackson. She also leaves behind her daughter-in-law Anne Feeley and grandchildren Lucas and Nina Feeley.
Erica was also a loving sister to Stephanie Hoffmann of Lexington and Heidi Jette of Franklin.
Erica leaves behind a large extended family including mother-in-law Vittoria Tropeano, brother-in-law Giuseppe Tropeano and brother-in-law Antonio Tropeano.
Erica loved and adored her seven nieces and nephews: Julia, Jordan, Cole, Dante, Leo, Mila and Nico. She will be missed by countless other family members and friends.
Erica loved to travel, go to the beach, entertain at her home and most of all, spend time with her family.
Erica was a 1981 graduate of Franklin High School.
She had been a Retail Sales Manager for Loyal Companion Boutique Pet Store for many years. She had previously worked in retail sales and the restaurant industry.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated, on Tuesday, October 18, at St. Mary’s Church in Franklin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
Calling hours will be on Monday, October 17 at the Ginley Funeral Home in Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin from 4-8 p.m.
