Annette Varricchio, of North Reading formerly of Woburn and Medford, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 13, 2022, at her group home following a lengthy period of declining health. She was 63. Born in Boston she was the beloved daughter of Anice E. (Vignolo) Varricchio of Woburn and the late Mark V. Varricchio.
Annette was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School. She was a resident of the Seven Hills Foundation Group Home in North Reading where she received exceptional care and comfort over the years. Annette was very social and loved being surrounded by family and friends. She enjoyed music, bowling, and Italian food, especially her mother's home made "Ravioli" that she always looked forward to. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her father, Annette is sadly predeceased by her sister, the late Stephanie Johnstone. Along with her mother, Annette is lovingly survived by her sisters, Christine Ladas and her husband Billy of Woburn, Joanne Buonfiglio and her husband Robert of Wakefield. She was the adored aunt of William Ladas, Stephanie Ladas, Alex Buonfiglio and Leila Buonfiglio.
Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Tuesday, October 18th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main St., Woburn at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at the Calvary Cemetery, Winchester. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home will be held on Monday, October 17th, from 4 to 8 p.m. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Annette's memory to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 or at www.kidney.org
