Obituary



Marie T. (Polcari) LoCicero passed away on Tuesday surrounded by her loving family. She was 76. A life-long Medford resident, Marie was the daughter of the late Anthony A. and Mary (Manganiello) Polcari.

A graduate of Medford High School, Marie worked throughout her life in the restaurant business. Marie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She and Robert had a beautiful life together over their nearly 55 years of marriage. They enjoyed time with family and friends, and looked forward to travelling to Las Vegas every year, always enjoying everything that town has to offer. Most of all, Marie was happiest with her family and spending as much time as possible with her grandson, Robert.

The beloved wife of Robert A. LoCicero, Marie was a loving mother to Michele M. Gambale of Medford and a proud and loving grandmother to Robert Gambale. She was the mother-in-law of Richard Gambale. Marie was a dear sister to Susanne Polcari of New Hampshire, Francine Castro and her husband Terry of Revere, and Ann Tecce and her husband Joseph of Medford. Marie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, her dear cousin Marilyn “Lynni” Sullivan and her best friend Tracy Luisi.

Relatives and friends may visit on Sunday the 16th of October from 4 – 8 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, and again on Monday morning at 10 with a procession to St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford for a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
