Charles A. Milligan, 96, of Westport, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Silver Creek Rehabilitation and Health Center in Bristol, RI. He was the husband of Marion H. (Jones) Phelan and the late Elvira (Fusco) Milligan.
Born in Orange City, FL, he was son of the late Arthur A. and Abbie (Crocker) Milligan. A proud WWII veteran, he served his country in the United States Army. Prior to retirement, he was a member of the Bricklayer Local Union #39. Mr. Milligan was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and a handyman.
Including his wife, he is survived 2 sons: Charles A. Milligan, Jr. and his wife Kathy of W. Barnstable and Robert Milligan and his wife Melissa of Westport; a daughter: Diane Davis and her husband Brian of Canyon Lake, TX; a sister: Margie Paon of FL; 5 grandchildren: Dawn, Tony, Ashlie, Alisha and Hayley; 4 great grandchildren: Tara, Courtney, Adrianna and Julien; and 2 great great grandsons: Lorenzo and Landon.
He was brother of the late George A. Pender and Marilyn Silveira.
