Jasmine Lapre Smith, age 31, of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 8, 2022
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of JoAnn Smith and the late Stephen Nelson. Jasmine was the mother of Isaiah Smith and sister of Tiana Smith and Latoya Smith.
Jasmine was raised and educated in Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School. She worked as a manager at Papa Gino’s for many years. Anyone that knew Jasmine would know how fun, jolly, and upbeat she was. She loved joking around and making her loved one’s smile with her cute dimples. In recent years she took up a love for cooking and explored many different types of cuisines. Jasmine also loved playing video games, writing whatever came to mind, and enhancing her artistic side in sketching, graffiti art, and calligraphy. Her handwriting was very beautiful, and many would say that she drew her words rather than write them.
Family was everything to her, she was extremely proud of her son, Isaiah Smith. Jasmine loved and cherished her family and friends more than anything. Sweet and one-of-a-kind, she will be deeply missed by many.
Jasmine is survived by her son, Isaiah Smith; her dear mother, JoAnn Smith; two sisters, Tiana Smith, and Latoya Smith, all of Boston; her grandparents, Diane and Joe Damon; her godparents, Margo and Michael Munn; as well as a nephew, Jerrell Smith, and many aunts and uncles. Jasmine was very social and leaves behind many friends that will miss her tremendously.
Visitation will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Saturday October 15, 2022, from 12-4 pm. A funeral service in the funeral home will take place at 2:30 pm. Interment will be private.
