Christine Marie (Quinn) Landry, 58, of Franklin died October 8th at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Boston following a long illness. She was the wife of Michael W. Landry for the past 37 years.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, December 19, 1963, the daughter of the late Vincent K. Quinn and the late Jean (Leamy) Brogan, Chris was raised in Gardner and had lived in Franklin for the past 23 years.
She was a Gardner High School graduate, and received her B.S. from Bentley College. A Certified Public Accountant, Chris had worked for Fenton, Ewald & Associates for many years.
Chris had been an active member of St. Mary’s Church, participating in the youth ministry, prayer groups, and bible study programs. At home and on trips, she adored spending time with family and friends. In her rare spare time, she enjoyed perfecting her home with gardening and interior decorating, cooking and trying out new recipes with the family, and making every chance to dine out an occasion. She brought her warmth, joy, and love into all parts of her life, making close friendships with neighbors, fellow parishioners, colleagues and clients. She always felt blessed to have so many wonderful people in her life.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Elizabeth Landry of New York City, U.S. Army Specialist Michael J. Landry and his wife Emily of Ft. Riley, Kansas, and Caroline M. Landry of Franklin, and her grandchildren Hunter and Miles Landry.
She is also survived by her siblings, Stephen Quinn of Arlington, Theresa Quinn of Portland, Maine, Kirk & Lori (Wirtanen) Quinn of Ashburnham, Roger & Katherine (Quinn) Fowkes of Mesa, Arizona and many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She is predeceased by her brother John Quinn.
Her funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 15 in St. Mary’s Church, Franklin at 10:00 a.m.
Private burial services will be held in St. John’s Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours will be on Friday, October 14 from 4-7 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.
