Maryanne Christopher

TEWKSBURY: Maryanne (Curtin) Christopher, age 71, a resident of Tewksbury for over 35 years, passed away at the Lahey Clinic Hospital in Burlington on Sunday, October 9, 2022.
She was the beloved wife of Harold A. “Harry” Christopher, who passed away September 3, 2018.
Born in Medford on April 14, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. Curtin and the late Edna Mae (Wickwire) Curtin.
Maryanne was raised in Wakefield and Longmeadow.
She attended local schools and graduated from Wakefield High School. Following graduation, she attended Newbury College in Brookline, where she received a B.A. Degree.
Maryanne resided in Newport, R.I. for several years until moving to Tewksbury.
Prior to her retirement from American Training, Inc, she and her late husband worked in local real estate sales.
Maryanne enjoyed spending time with her family and vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard.
She is survived by her son, Benjamin A. Christopher and his wife Kimberly, of Tewksbury: three grandchildren, Benjamin, Hailey, and Daelynn Christopher: two brothers, Robert Curtin and his wife Susan, of Needham, Michael Curtin and his wife Lori, of Newport Beach, CA: two sisters, Barbara Hendricks, of Wilmington and Beverly Portley and her husband Maurice, of Phoenix, AZ. She leaves many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 14th, from 9-11 a.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, followed by her graveside service to be held at Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East St., Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Tewksbury Redmen Football Club, 31 Bopete Lane, Tewksbury, MA 01876.
