Walter V. Boyko, Jr. "Sonny" of Hanover, formerly of Hull, passed away on October 10, 2022. Beloved husband of Janet E. (Stefanoni) Boyko. Loving father of Walter V. Boyko, III of Maine, Robert M. Boyko of Hingham and Tracey Waltz and her husband Kevin of Fairhaven. Dear grandfather of Jillian and Camden Waltz and Alec Boyko. Brother of Anne Norton of Scituate. Son of the late Walter V. Boyko, Sr and Sophie D. (Bidak) Boyko. Uncle of Joseph Norton of Scituate and Kimberly Peters and her husband Kurt of Scituate. Great Uncle of Patrick and Therese Peters and Tessa and Peter Norton. Brother-in-law of Edward Stefanoni of Easton and his children Talia, Hrianna and Brielle. Brother-in-law of the late Joseph Norton, John Stefanoni, Carol Stefanoni and Carole Landry. A Requiem Divine Liturgy will be held in Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church, 146 Forest Hills St., Jamaica Plain on Saturday October 15 at 11 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may visit with Walter's family at the church from 10 am until 11 prior to the service. Entombment will follow at the family mausoleum at Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Walter's memory may be made to Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church 146 Forest Hills St. Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 Attention: Aide to Ukraine. Late US Airforce Veteran. Walter was a member of St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church and Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church, both in Jamaica Plain.
