Jane C. (Snow) Taglilatela, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at The Katzman Family Center For Living in Chelsea. She was 87 years of age.
Jane was born in Boston on January 23, 1935, a daughter of the late Alfred G. Snow and Evelyn (Bouvier) Snow. She grew up in Charlestown and was educated at The Little Flower Parochial School in Somerville and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Somerville. Jane worked as a Book Binder at Acme Book Binding Company in Charlestown and retired following 30 years as dedicated employee. Jane was a member of The Golden Age Center in Charlestown where she took great pride making scarfs every year for the Veterans protecting her country. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking and maintaining her flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed her companionship with her dog Bella.
Jane is the beloved wife of the late John Taglilatela. She is the devoted mother of Dodi Johnson and John J. Taglilatela and his wife Beth. She is the loving Nana Jane to Paul Johnson and his partner Angie, Catherine Burroughs and her husband Chris, John Correia and Jordyn Hastings. Jane holds a special place in her heart for Nicole Matson and Frannie and Wes Taylor. She is the beloved twin sister of Joan Wagner and beloved sister of Alfred Snow, Christine Mullaney and the late Marilyn Rogers, William Snow, Theresa Stiles and Frank Snow. She is the sister-in-law of Eileen Snow. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jane's Funeral Mass on Saturday morning, October 15, 2022 at 11 A.M. in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial is private. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
