Maureen “Minnie” (McDonald) Woods, age 60, loving mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away on October 7, 2022.
Minnie was born and raised in Charlestown, Massachusetts; a true Townie. She grew up surrounded by her large family and lots of friends. She was the baby of the bunch. She attended Warren Prescott elementary school and Clarence Edwards middle school. She would later go on to marry the love of her life, Danny Woods, and share a beautiful daughter Whitney Rose. She was an amazing cook, loyal friend, and a true beach-bum. She spent many of her best days at the beach, whether up North or in Florida with her sisters.
She is predeceased by her mother, Maureen “Nana” (Everly) Flannagan, and father, James “Grampy” McDonald. Minnie is survived by her daughter Whitney Woods and her partner Dave Mullins, her grand-children Emma Rosie, Jake, and Douglas Mullins. Also survived by her stepmother Donna McDonald and siblings James McDonald and wife Linda, Eileen McDonald and husband Neil, Kathleen Skinner, twin brother Matthew McDonald, dear friend, David McDonald, along with a long list of close aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Minnie's visiting hours on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. followed by her Funeral Service at 7 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial will be private.
