Obituary

Theresa Artruc 82 of Wilson Ave, Woonsocket, died Friday at home. She was the wife of Edward E. Artruc. Mrs Artruc was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Arthur and Aura (Cardinal) Maclure. She was a homemaker most of her life but worked as an aide for Valley Transportation for seven years before retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Franco American Club.

Besides her husband, she leaves a son Edward Artruc of Harrisville, and three daughters; Claudette Gravel of Woonsocket, Paulette Marini of Harrisville, and Tina Kirchman also of Woonsocket, 12 grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.

She is also survived by a brother Bertrand Maclure of Woonsocket, and three sisters Constance Goulet, Gabrielle Chartier, and Henrietta Patrie, all of Woonsocket. She was also a sister of the late Gerald Maclure, Muriel Roy, Gilbert Allard, and Yolande Kircorian

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Agatha’s Church , 34 Joffre Ave Woonsocket at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm
