Pamela Moore Lamprey
Biddeford, ME — Pamela Moore Lamprey passed away peacefully on Sept. 30, 2022, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.
She was born on September 4, 1953, in Portland, ME and grew up in South Portland, daughter to the late Royce and Maxine Moore.
She worked for many years in the auto industry and if anything was wrong with your car, she’d let you know what it was—and she was almost always right (she would say always). If you were up for shopping, Pam was your gal. She loved to paint, decorate, go to farmer’s markets, and scroll Cats of Instagram. We regretted showing her how to use Instagram once the clothing ads started showing up in her feed. She was always dressed to perfection, but as beautiful as she looked, it never overshadowed her inner beauty. Pam always lit up a room with her sweet demeanor, humor, and kindness to all. A lifelong sun worshipper, the ocean was one of her very special places.
Pamela was predeceased by her parents Royce Moore and Maxine Moore Russell, brother Craig, and her kitty of 22 years, Missy.
She is survived by her daughter Tonya Jordan (Wayne Mailman) of Biddeford, and grandson Shawn Jordan (Ashley Gagner) of Saco, as well as her stepmother and sisters, and many cherished friends and neighbors.
We would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to Dr. Jessica Bian as well as all the amazing caregivers at Gosnell House in Scarborough ME for taking such good* care of her, and for their many kindnesses to us during her last hours.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 23 from 2-6pm at the Biddeford Eagles 804, 57 Birch Street, Biddeford.
In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made in her memory to the Animal Welfare Society in Kennebunk, ME.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service, Buxton, www.mainefuneral.com
