Sarah A. (Aguiar) Abreu, 45, of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, October 6, 2022. She was the wife of the late Antonio Abreu, Jr.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of Kenneth and Frances (Kuznar) Aguiar of Westport, she grew up in Westport prior to moving to Dartmouth in 1993. She was a graduate of Westport High School. Sarah worked at St. Anne's Hospital as a registered nurse. She enjoyed going for motorcycle rides, working in her yard, kayaking, skiing, hiking, camping and spending time with her friends, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Including her parents, she is survived by 2 sons: Matthew J. Abreu of Dartmouth and Joshua M. Abreu of Dartmouth; a sister: Angela Ferrer of Westport; 2 nephews: Kenneth Ferrer and Mason Ferrer; an aunt; an uncle; and several cousins.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Monday from 5-8 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
