Judith Kay (Baumgart) Crow was an angel on earth with a radiant smile for everyone, and a welcoming
hug to all family and friends. Everyone who knew Judy felt her big heart and giving nature. Judy was born on July 3, 1951, in Columbus, Nebraska. She entered into rest on September 27, 2022 in Kennewick.
Known as Judy to her family and friends, she was a fantastic baker and cook. She always said that she learned from the best cook and baker, that was her mom. She was designated sister that made delicious dinner rolls and pies for Christmas, Thanksgiving and family gatherings. At her business, The Paterson Store, she made amazing cinnamon rolls that flew out the door. Her food specials were sought by all the surrounding customers that flocked to The Paterson Store for their lunch or dinner. The best thing was Judy’s smile and kind way.
Judy married Steve Crow on June 20, 1971 at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston, Oregon. They had two sons, Mark and Robert (Bob). Judy had a passion for many things in life, but her true passion was being a mom. She was brilliant at it. Judy loved to garden, fish, can fresh vegetables and fruit, make delicious jellies and jams and spending time with her three grandchildren. Judy enjoyed large family gatherings with her four sisters, two brothers, their spouses and all her nieces, nephews and families. The Crow-Baumgart gatherings are legendary evens where fun, laughter and fabulous food were plentiful and there was always room at the table for friends.
Judy is survived by her son, Bob Crow and daughter-in-law, Jessica (Deats) Crow and three grandchildren, Marlee, Clay and Robert. She is also survived by her four sisters, Mary Ellen (Don Tracy) of Umatilla, Holly (John Carpenter) of Athens, Alabama, Debbie (Robin Dickerson) of Umatilla, and Cindy Baumgart of Umatilla; two brothers, Fred of Umatilla and David (Anita Barron) of Irrigon; and many nephews and nieces and grand nephews and nieces.
