We are sad to announce the passing of Jayne L. Strunk from Madonna Manor in North Attleborough MA. She died peacefully at the age of 83 on September 27, 2022. Jayne was the daughter of Ruth and Osten Anderson of Newton, Massachusetts and predeceased by her brother Robert Anderson. She lived the majority of her life, 45 years, in her favorite town of Needham, MA and is predeceased by her loving husband Thomas Strunk. She is survived by her three children and spouses, Karen and Joe Mulcahy of Plainville MA, Susan and Steven Younis of Franklin MA, and Chris and Shirley Baillargeon of Bristol CT. Jayne was the proud Grandmother of nine and the Great-Grandmother of twelve.
A graduate of Boston College, Jayne gave over 40 years to the health and wellness community as a Registered nurse. Jayne’s career took her down many paths from private duty, medical-floor coverage, administration, case worker and education; Jayne was devoted to caring for people. Additionally, Jayne was an extremely talented watercolorist. In her spare-time you would often find a paint-brush in hand, an artist’s palette covered in paint and a creation in process, this was the center of her passions.
A funeral mass will be held on October 22, at 10:00AM, at Saint Mark’s Church, 105 Stanley Street, North Attleborough, MA. Immediately following, a graveside service will be held at Saint Mary’s cemetery, Towne Street, North Attleborough, MA.
