STEEP FALLS- Valerie Sutcliffe "Val" of Steep Falls Maine, died suddenly on October 1, 2022, at the age of 58 while on vacation with her husband at the Fryeburg Fair.
She is predeceased by her father Henry Small and Mother Dorothy Irish.
She is survived by her husband David Sutcliffe, her children; Jennie Stockman, Joey Allman, Kyle Allman, her stepchildren; Trista Sirois, Britney Sutcliffe, Nick Mitchell, and her grandchildren; Blake Tibbetts, Garrit Tibbetts, Brady Tibbetts, Gillian Tibbetts, Dustin Allman, Decklyn Allman, Hunter Allman, Gracie "Allman" Thompson, Mason "Allman" Kimball, Ausitn Dewitt, Evan Dewitt, and Vaida Mitchell. Val was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved and enjoyed overnight visits with her grandchildren over the years, she enjoyed baking with her granddaughter and making special treats, and pancakes or waffles were always a must. Val enjoyed riding her Harley during warm summer months, where they often took trips to Florida and Sturgis South Dakota. She enjoyed camping with her friends and family, and was planning another summer doing just that. However all those that knew Val knew her truly favorite past time was Thanksgiving, she planned months in advance on her menu, she cooked for days, and absolutely loved being surrounded by her family that time of year. It brought her so much joy feeding those she loved.
Vals most know quality was always love, she cared for everyone deeply. She had a huge heart and was a nurturer to her core. She was the life of the party, and never shied-away from living life on her terms, and enjoyed every moment of it.
" A wife, a mother, a grandmother too, this is the legacy we have from you, so go in peace, you've earned your sleep, your love in our hearts, we'll forever keep".
