WEST SPRINGFIELD – Joseph W. Dahdah, 92, a longtime resident of Springfield and Trinity Drive in West Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Sunday, October 2, 2022. He passed into Eternal Life at Heritage Hall West in Agawam surrounded by all the memories he loved and cherished. He was born in Springfield on May 30, 1930, a beloved son of the late Peter Joseph Dahdah and Leila (Harbia) Dahdah. He was raised in Springfield, graduated from the High School of Commerce and lived in Springfield until 1995 when he moved to West Springfield. Joe was employed for 38 years at the Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company in Springfield and retired in 1989. Active in his Catholic faith, he was a lifelong communicant of Saint Anthony Maronite Catholic Church in Springfield. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving brothers, Nelson P. Dahdah, Henry J. Dahdah and Ralph P. Dahdah; and his loving sisters, Rose M. Dahdah, Anna Busker and Mary Darnell. He leaves his dear nephews, nieces, cousins and his church family at Saint Anthony Maronite Catholic Church. His friends are invited to attend a visiting hour on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. which will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Saint Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 375 Island Pond Road, Springfield, MA 01118, (please meet directly at the church). His burial will follow the Mass at Saint Michael Cemetery, 1601 State Street, Springfield, MA 01109. His funeral arrangements are entrusted to the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107.
