SPENCER: Carol A. (Sherman) Hauver,66, of Spencer, died Friday, Sept. 30 at her home, following a long illness.
She leaves her husband of 43 years, Russell F. Hauver, II, her sons; Russell F. Hauver,III and his wife Mary Elizabeth of Merrimack, NH., and Corey D.Hauver and his wife Kathleen of Holliston, her daughter; Jennifer A. Hauver and her husband Jason Stuart of Waterford, NY., a sister; Paula Moysinski of Falmouth, 6 grandchildren; Russell IV, AnnLyn, Morgan, Declan and Calaia, several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Albert and Theresa (Guay) Sherman and later graduated from Burncoat High School in Worcester and Simmonds College in Boston.
Carol was a registered nurse for 30 years, retiring in 2016 from UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
